Community Summit, GP Roadmap, and SimplyAP

As 2021 draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the good news from this year and how it has impacted KwikTag and our customers alike.


Community Summit in Houston, TX

KwikTag was proud to be a premier sponsor at this year’s Community Summit event in Houston, Texas. This marked the return of in-person trade shows for most of the Dynamics Community and, while there was a smaller turnout than usual, the event was great.

KwikTag participated in three sessions during the event. We discussed whether or not AP automation will ever rule the world (spoiler alert: someday soon, it could) and the benefits of staying on Dynamics GP, given the GP roadmap extension through 2028 – and beyond!

We also had a KwikTag customer join us on-site in Houston to talk about his company’s journey from manual invoice processes to complete AP automation during the pandemic.

2028 GP Roadmap

Speaking of Dynamics GP, this year brought great news for GP users across the world. Microsoft announced that the GP roadmap has been extended to 2028 and beyond. This means another six years of development commitment, enhancement requests, and opportunity for users to give feedback.

Prior to this announcement, GP users were left uncertain whether they would need to change ERP systems altogether in the near future. This news brings a sigh of relief and encourages GP customers to keep using the ERP system they know and trust, until or unless their business requirements change.

What’s New with KwikTag

KwikTag is committed to continuous growth and innovation with our product offerings, and this year is no exception. In 2021, we have announced three new major enhancements to our products.


KwikPayables Accelerate

Earlier his year, KwikTag introduced KwikPayables Accelerate for Dynamics GP. KwikPayables Accelerate is a completely cloud-based AP automation solution that functions with standardized workflow paths and features that support intelligent invoice indexing (OCR) and digital approval to minimize data entry and human error. Because it is an all-inclusive package that includes software, services, system upgrades, and lives in the cloud, it can be deployed faster and more efficiently than traditional AP automation. In fact, KwikPayables Accelerate can be deployed in weeks instead of months, at only a fraction of the cost.

KwikPayables Accelerate not only allows businesses to eliminate manual steps in their AP process, it does so faster and more efficiently than traditional AP automation solutions.


Payment Processing

KwikTag has partnered with Corporate Spending Innovations (CSI) to integrate payment processing into KwikPayables. This extends the value of automated invoice workflows to include vendor payment processing in the most optimal methods for organizations.

KwikPayables users will be able to automate and streamline payment batch approval and vendor payments. This additions significantly enhances payment security while reducing fraud and payment costs by replacing checks with single-use virtual cards, whenever possible.

Electronic payments are faster, more secure, and less expensive than manual checks and other forms of payment. KwikPayables Accelerate delivers an integrated AP and payment automation experience with complete visibility throughout the entire process.

SimplyAP for Business Central (Preview of Pre-Release)

We are excited to introduce the highly-anticipated AP automation solution for Business Central – SimplyAP. We previewed the solution in early release at Community Summit and received great feedback and excitement from the community.

SimplyAP is the first in a new generation of AP automation solutions from KwikTag that are born in the cloud. It is designed to automate and streamline invoice capture, purchase order matching and transaction creation in Business Central with visibility into workflow history at every step in the process.
