The number three reason a company will be brought to its operational knees is the dreaded bottleneck. Following is an actual customer scenario and how KwikTag helped.

Any time a human being gets involved in a business process and has to perform an action before a business process can move on to the next node of the process, you have a bottleneck. One particular customer of ours required 12 levels of approval just to buy something and pay the invoice – regardless of what the item is or the vendor from whom it was purchased. This customer happens to be a religious organization and if they needed new Bibles, 12 levels of approval. If they needed a new toilet in the washroom, 12 levels of approval. If they needed new offering vessels in order to take up collection, you guessed it, 12 levels of approval. They were being hamstrung by their own processes and needed some divine intervention – pun intended.

ImageTag was able to show them the error of their ways, also pun intended. We automated their accounts payable processes with our KwikPayables application and reduced the need for all of those approval levels down to two or three, depending upon dollar amount and the importance of the actual item or service that was being purchased. Two to three is so much easier to manage than 12. As you might imagine, they got through that process much quicker and the fact that it was automated really sped things along.
